Which save should you keep?
For the 2026 sequel, keep your Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter clear data to claim the predecessor bonus. Load it to unlock Estelle and Joshua’s Classic Style SC costumes. Keep your 2nd Chapter demo save separately if you want to continue that playthrough in the full game.
The first-game clear-data rewards
The costume designs come from the original The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC. You also receive items based on Estelle’s final level in 1st Chapter, and the new game can reflect your earlier play data.
The same clear-data bonus works in the demo: load your 1st Chapter clear data there to unlock the Classic Style SC costumes at the beginning of the demo.
Continue from the demo in the full game
- Keep the save created in your 2nd Chapter demo; its progress can carry over to the full game.
- Update the full game to its latest version before you continue from the demo save.
- On PlayStation 5 or Steam, open the full game’s title screen and choose “Load Game,” then load your demo save directly.
- On Nintendo Switch, choose “Transfer” on the full game’s title screen to bring over the demo save.
