Clear the short requests before the academy
After Olivier joins, pick up Sunday Scholar and Drawbridge Defect at the Bracer Guild board. Both are Short requests that expire after visiting Jenis Royal Academy. Later, finish Election Office Outrage and Winners Wanted in Ruan before leaving for Zeiss.
Prepare before taking the requests
- Bracer Side-Missions unlock after Jean’s introduction to the three witnesses. Accept them from guild bulletin boards, and use an Orbal Factory to improve equipment and Quartz.
- Consider waiting until you have at least three party members for Monster Quests such as Vista Forest Rd Monster.
- For Ingredient Inquiry, gather Monster Bone, Monster Fang, Monster Tender, Monster Roe, Monster Bird Egg and Monster Horn. Flying Shrimp in Sapphirl Tower drop the horn.
Ingredients, photograph and lighthouse
- Ingredient Inquiry can be completed with three ingredient types. Hand over all six to receive the +2 BP bonus and extra monster items.
- For Sapphirl Snapshot, stand in the center behind the front-most pillars and aim straight at the device for +2 BP. In this remake, the same bonus is available with or without Dorothy accompanying you.
- For Lighthouse Learning, bring all settings through LOW, then MID, then HIGH before starting. Use the minimap’s markers to find the switches. Finish by asking the keeper “Do you need anything else taken care of?” for +1 BP.
- During the White Shadow testimony comparison, the second answer—“The direction the white shadow disappeared in”—earns +3 BP. The first answer gives +1 BP.
Sunday Scholar at the church
Accept the request after Olivier joins, then talk to Sister Frieda at the church. Sunday Scholar pays 1,000 Mira and 3 BP, plus 2 bonus BP for the quiz. Finish before the Jenis Royal Academy visit.
- Answer in this order: regional peace and public safety; G through A, seven ranks; 50 years ago; non-involvement in politics; prioritize people’s safety; age 16 or above; the client’s wishes; a Royal Army unit; Article 2; and 42 arge.
- Finish answering the questions to clear the request automatically.
Drawbridge Defect with Chief Portos and Kevin
After accepting the request following Olivier’s arrival, visit Chief Portos at Aqua Rossa Bar. The quest offers 1,000 Mira and 2 BP, with 1 extra BP available, and expires after the academy visit.
- Question everyone marked on the bridge, then identify “Human intervention” for the bonus BP.
- Use Kevin’s grail coin near the left-side chain by the east side of town. Examine the discovery, then investigate the manual bridge-control device in the mayor’s house.
- Follow the fleeing monster to Gull Seaside Way. Kevin rejoins for the fight against Jabbabba King and four Red Shumocks. His Sacrifice Arrow and Grail Sphere buffs can help; defeat the group to finish.
Post-story requests before the flight to Zeiss
After Chapter 1’s main events, stay in Ruan to finish Election Office Outrage and Winners Wanted before departing for Zeiss. Neither provides bonus BP, but both are requests to complete.
Election Office Outrage starts with Nial’s blue sub-event at Hotel Blanche and the request you receive when trying to leave. Question people on all four floors about Kooper, the noise, anger, lunch, Herio, the bell, cleanup and Belden until the markers are exhausted. Report to your partner, choose culprit option 6, and choose option 2 when presenting each fact. Selecting “Give Up” ends the investigation unsuccessfully.
Winners Wanted requires winning a hand; a loss fails the request. The sequence varies by partner. On Agate’s turn, choose “Trade everything but the king,” then “Play your hand”—the first option each time.
