Plan the completion records before progressing
The 2026 remake released on Steam on September 16, 2026 and has 49 Steam achievements. The key completion targets below cover quests, combat records, collections and a Nightmare clear.
For Quest Master, complete and report every quest. For A-Rank Bracer, reach 450 BP out of the possible 452. Save frequently: the game provides 160 save files.
Key achievement names and unlock conditions
- Budding Bracer — complete the Balstar Channel training course.
- Supreme Tactician — earn a Tactical Bonus of x3.0 or higher.
- Quest Master — complete and report all quests.
- Master Angler — catch every type of fish.
- A-Rank Bracer — reach Senior Bracer A-Rank.
- Battle Master — record all 410 enemy types in the Combat Handbook.
- Treasure Hunter — open 566 treasure chests.
- Book Master — fill every entry on the book pages.
- Quartz Collector — collect every different type of Quartz.
- Hell’s Crown — complete the game on Nightmare difficulty.
- Hero of Liberl — unlock all achievements.
Protect your quest and BP progress
- Complete all story quests and sidequests, including their bonuses, to reach maximum BP. Finish Short requests promptly: even a little story progression can cause them to fail.
- Keep the Rank A target in view: 450 of the available 452 BP. Use separate saves frequently while working through the requests.
- After Chapter 5, finish Businesswoman’s Bodyguard, Distant Days and Mine Mop Up before starting the story events at Valleria.
Collection checks that are easy to overlook
- Track your books for Book Master. After collecting the Gambler Jack series, you can give it to the NPC in Grancel for the reward; the game still remembers that you obtained the books.
- For Battle Master, record Shining Pom and Shining Pom+ separately. They count as different enemies and need not appear in the same place.
- Revisit fishing spots in Chapter 8 for four late fish varieties. Granakor appears in several places. Gigangora and Blue Marlin appear at the Gull Seaside Road beach between Mercia Orphanage and Ruan; Blue Marlin is exclusive to that spot. The final fish at Valleria Shore requires Lakelord II.
- Keep tracking all Quartz types and opened chests alongside those records. Quartz Collector needs every type; Treasure Hunter requires 566 chests.
Preparing for the Nightmare clear
Hell’s Crown requires a completed Nightmare playthrough. The following status-management tools are useful on Nightmare, while lower difficulties give more room for mistakes.
Save before bosses and equip accessories that resist their status effects. Overdrive clears the affected character’s status; a Burst costing five Brave Gauge points removes negative status effects from the party.
Two conditions to keep distinct
- What Tactical Bonus does Supreme Tactician require?
- The Steam achievement condition is a Tactical Bonus of x3.0 or higher.
- Is accepting a quest enough for Quest Master?
- No. Its condition requires you to complete and report every quest.
